Fired 84 rounds during the inaugural range session-most from a modified prone with the butt resting on the collarbone-with no discomfort. The Element is a light rifle (5.5 lbs), but even with the Hornady Superformance (+P) ammunition the recoil was similar to a 5.56 AR. Installed it on a Seekins Havak Element in 7.62 (proper indexing is stupid simple). I have purchased a bunch of stuff from them over the last couple of years.
